Replies, reactions, edits, spoilers
The core of the app is a chat: swipe to reply, react without a menu, edit with revision locks, and jump straight to whatever a reply is pointing at.

Livara 0.2 · web + Android
Encrypted messages, groups, calls, stories and offline-first delivery — written as what ships. A feature list is only interesting if the features hold up on a train with one bar of signal.

Twelve surfaces, each described as what happens when you use it — not what would be nice to imply.
Voice notes and round video
Hold to record, release to send, slide to cancel, lock for longer takes — or switch to a circular video note.
hold · slide · lockDirect or group, camera or screen
Android group calls include hand raising, layouts, screen sharing, and moderator controls. Calls are end-to-end encrypted unless optional server recording is enabled; recording uses transport encryption and shows a REC indicator.

Group calls on Android
Bring people on stage, keep others in the audience, and share your screen in Android group calls. Optional server recording changes the protection from end-to-end encryption to transport encryption and shows a REC indicator.
GroupcallsStagecontrolsScreenshareRecord it. Read it later.
Optional server recording shows a visible REC state and uses transport encryption instead of E2EE. Turn it into a transcript, search it, and share the useful parts.

Photo and video stories with segmented progress, pause-on-hold, swipe transitions, viewer lists and direct replies — ephemeral by design.
06 · Bad signal
What happens in the tunnel.
Stage locally, queue under one operation ID, reconcile against the server. Bad signal is a designed-for case, not an apology.

01
Stage it locally
The bubble appears immediately with a stable operation ID.
02
Queue it under that same ID
Retries reuse the ID, so flaky signal cannot triple a send.
03
Reconcile against the server
The durable cursor only moves once the snapshot agrees.
